Start of cooperation with Jekko Deutschland
Start of cooperation with Jekko Deutschland
In May 2024, the president of Jekko Deutschland, Carsten Bielfield, visited the factory in Wolsztyn, Poland, to see the production process of vacuum lifters firsthand. His visit was not merely a formality but, above all, an opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the technologies used in our production process. The visit to Poland concluded with a decision to purchase test units of the lifters, which were to be presented at the Platformers’ Days trade fair. Carsten Bielfield was impressed by both the precision of workmanship and the advanced technological solutions used by the factory, which confirmed his belief that Catchshift has the potential to revolutionize the construction market. His visit marked a key moment in the cooperation between Catchshift and Jekko Deutschland, resulting in the purchase of test units of vacuum lifters, which were presented at the Platformers’ Days trade fair in September 2024. This prestigious fair, which brings together the latest technologies and equipment for the construction industry, proved to be the ideal venue for promoting Catchshift’s vacuum lifters.
Platformers’ Days 2024 Trade Fair
The Platformers’ Days trade fair, held annually in Karlsruhe, is one of the most important events for companies in the construction industry. It is here that leading manufacturers and distributors of machinery and technology gather to present their latest achievements. This year’s edition, held on September 6-7, 2024, attracted thousands of industry professionals as well as potential customers looking for modern solutions to optimize work on construction sites. One of the key participants at this event was Catchshift, represented at the fair by sales manager Jacek Karaszewski. The presentation of Catchshift’s products at the Jekko Deutschland booth proved to be an excellent opportunity to showcase innovative vacuum lifters that perfectly meet the needs of modern construction companies. The Jekko Deutschland booth, where the Catchshift lifters were displayed, stood out thanks to its modern solutions and advanced technology.
Presentation at the Platformers’ Days 2024 Trade Fair
During the Platformers’ Days fair in Karlsruhe, Catchshift presented its flagship products — vacuum lifters for concrete that can be integrated with Jekko mini cranes. This combination of Catchshift and Jekko Deutschland technology was one of the main highlights of the program at the Jekko booth. Catchshift’s lifters stand out for their durability, intuitive controls, and advanced safety systems, making them an ideal tool for working in demanding construction conditions. The biggest attraction for visitors was the practical demonstration of the lifters’ functionality. The collaboration with Jekko made it possible to show how these devices can be configured with mini cranes, significantly increasing their versatility and functionality. The demonstration drew numerous fair attendees, who were impressed by the technological capabilities of this combination.
We met many new customers
The first days of the fair brought enormous interest in Catchshift’s products. The booth attracted both representatives of major construction companies and owners of construction equipment rental businesses looking for modern technologies to improve their operations. Importantly, customers who had already used Jekko cranes emphasized that combining these two solutions significantly increases efficiency and work safety on the construction site. Conversations with potential customers also raised questions about technical specifications and the possibility of customizing the devices to individual needs.
Meetings with representatives of well-known companies
One of the most important meetings held during the fair was a conversation with Thomas Auge, owner of AUGE GmbH. AUGE GmbH specializes in carrying out large construction projects and expressed interest in Catchshift’s technologies. During the meeting, the parties discussed how Catchshift’s vacuum lifters could be adapted to the company’s specific needs, as well as the technical requirements that would need to be met. The conversation concluded with a preliminary order for the FROG600 mini vacuum lifter, marking a first step toward potential long-term cooperation. Another important contact made during the fair was Andrew Foster, CEO of Foster Crane from the United Kingdom, and Jurg Balli, CEO of FELDMANN from Switzerland. Both companies expressed interest in adding Catchshift lifters to their product range, and discussions about potential cooperation went very promisingly. These meetings could result in new distribution agreements, allowing Catchshift to expand into the UK and Swiss markets.
Megatrends in the construction market
It’s easy to notice at the fair that interest in automating construction processes and improving work safety on construction sites is growing. Catchshift fits perfectly into these trends, offering vacuum lifters equipped with advanced control and safety systems. Platformers’ Days is not only an excellent promotional opportunity but also a place to gather valuable feedback from customers. Based on this feedback, we plan further product development to meet the increasingly higher demands of the market. Investment in automation and improved safety remain our priorities for the years ahead.
