Catchshift’s Success at Platformers’ Days 2024

Commencement of Cooperation with Jekko Deutschland

In May 2024, the president of Jekko Deutschland, Carsten Bielfield, visited the factory in Wolsztyn, Poland, to witness the vacuum lifters' production process firsthand. His visit was not merely a formality but an opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the technologies we employ in production. The visit concluded with a decision to purchase test units of the lifters, which were later showcased at the Platformers' Days exhibition. Carsten Bielfield was impressed by both the precision of the craftsmanship and the advanced technological solutions used in the factory, solidifying his belief that Catchshift has the potential to revolutionize the construction market. His visit marked a pivotal moment in the collaboration between Catchshift and Jekko Deutschland, resulting in the purchase of test vacuum lifters that were presented at the Platformers' Days exhibition in September 2024. This prestigious event, which focuses on the latest technologies and equipment for the construction industry, was the perfect venue to promote Catchshift's vacuum lifters.

Platformers' Days 2024 Exhibition

The Platformers' Days exhibition, held annually in Karlsruhe, is one of the most important events for companies in the construction sector. It’s where leading manufacturers and distributors of machinery and technology gather to showcase their latest achievements. This year’s edition, which took place from September 6th to 7th, 2024, attracted thousands of industry professionals and potential clients seeking modern solutions to optimize their construction operations. One of the key participants of this event was Catchshift, represented by Sales Manager Jacek Karaszewski. The presentation of Catchshift’s products at the Jekko Deutschland booth provided an excellent opportunity to display innovative vacuum lifters that perfectly meet the needs of modern construction companies. The Jekko Deutschland booth, where the Catchshift lifters were showcased, stood out with its modern solutions and advanced technology.

Presentation at Platformers' Days 2024

During the Platformers' Days exhibition in Karlsruhe, Catchshift presented its flagship products – vacuum lifters for concrete, which can be integrated with Jekko mini cranes. This combination of Catchshift and Jekko Deutschland technologies was one of the highlights at the Jekko booth. The Catchshift lifters stand out for their durability, intuitive controls, and advanced safety systems, making them the perfect tool for working in tough construction environments. The biggest attraction for visitors was the live demonstration of the lifters’ functionality. The collaboration with Jekko allowed for showcasing how these devices can be configured with mini cranes, significantly enhancing their versatility and functionality. The demonstration attracted many exhibition attendees, who were impressed by the technological capabilities of this combination.

We Met Many New Clients

The first days of the exhibition brought tremendous interest in Catchshift’s products. The booth attracted representatives from large construction companies as well as owners of equipment rental businesses who were looking for modern technologies to streamline their operations. Importantly, clients who had previously used Jekko cranes emphasized that combining the two solutions significantly improves efficiency and safety on construction sites. During discussions with potential clients, there were also inquiries regarding technical specifications and the possibility of customizing the devices to meet specific needs.

Meetings with Representatives of Major Companies

One of the most important meetings during the exhibition was with Thomas Auge, the owner of AUGE Gmbh. AUGE Gmbh specializes in large construction projects and expressed interest in Catchshift technologies. During the meeting, the potential customization of Catchshift vacuum lifters to meet the company’s specific needs, as well as the technical requirements, were discussed. The conversation concluded with a preliminary order for a FROG600 mini vacuum grabber, marking the first step toward a potential long-term collaboration. Another key contact made during the exhibition was Andrew Foster, CEO of Foster Crane from the UK, and Jurg Balli, CEO of FELDMANN from Switzerland. Both companies were interested in adding Catchshift lifters to their portfolios, and the discussions about potential cooperation were very promising. As a result of these meetings, new distribution agreements could be on the horizon, enabling Catchshift to expand into the UK and Swiss markets.

Megatrends in the Construction Market

At the exhibition, it was clear that there is growing interest in the automation of construction processes and increasing workplace safety on job sites. Catchshift aligns perfectly with these trends, offering vacuum lifters equipped with advanced control and safety systems. Platformers' Days is not just a great promotional opportunity, but also a place to gather valuable feedback from clients. Based on these insights, we plan to further develop our products to meet the market’s ever-increasing demands. Investing in automation and improving safety are our priorities for the coming years.
